Especially refreshing it is, to create an absolutely clear tonal identity in the often pretentious club music world. Most notably in our time this is seldom, where many in our advanced technical age reach to rehashing hits with his own handwriting and spin. The Krause Duo (Metaboman & Carlson Basu) has exactly the essence of this within, whether they are a DJ-duo that shatters the dance floor (occasionally with Flowin 'Immo on the m.i.c) or with their names splattered across their ton documents dispersed. Without the lifestyle and techno celebrity, the completely legitimate medial & democracy exhausted society, they are here absolute sound craftsman at the factory: playful nerds - charming and dirty at the same time, insidious, frayed on the edges, confident, always present and contemporary, fragile yet saturated at the same time. The pieces are neither ski jumps - the listener does the flying - or Grammy winning music for those of the female persuasion, who are at the same time well-read and donít need underwear.
